Target Audience Questionnaire

Introduction: We are creating questions in class based on the magazine genres we chose. Once more, fashion is my genre. The idea was to create questions based on your genre and gather data for future magazine creation. Knowing who your target audience is can help you prepare a presentation strategy.

Knowing your audience can help you use your research to produce content that appeals to them. Additionally, knowing who your audience is enables your company to concentrate its marketing efforts and budget on the demographics that are most likely to become customers.

I asked 20+ people and here is the result:

I became aware of what individuals prefer to view and find more appealing as a result of this question. Most people, as I expected, went with a moderate and neutral color scheme.

The majority of those surveyed said they do use and wear makeup. As a result, I'll either dedicate a section to cosmetics or make an accent out of it in my looks and further photos.

Another question that led to my decision-making on what to emphasize and include in my magazine. I will include accessories and create looks with them to inspire my audience.

Many people responded in favor of clothing boosting confidence, and no one disagreed! I'm happy that people have that opinion since one of the primary points I want to convey in my magazine is that dressing in a way that makes them feel confident is important.

The decision of what to put in the section and what they would be discussing was influenced by this, making it the most significant question I asked.

This helped me to know my audience's average age. I will be focused on teens in my magazine.

I'm very eager to create my magazine and make several parts with various styles so that my readers may discover new things or perhaps even modify their personal preferences. Changing up your look never hurts. :)

Most people who I have asked are interested in fashion and I will be happy to present my own magazine to people who would enjoy reading it!

I wanted to know what kind of style of makeup people typically prefer since I wanted to create a section for it. Most people favored soft and natural. I'll be creating clothes and styles all together in similar way because the color scheme for the magazine's subject is likewise neutral and gentle.

A lot of people care about their style and use time to style their outfit. I will try to make tips of how to make it easier or how to style a specific piece of clothing.

Most people either have their own personal style, switch it frequently, or don't adhere to any particular trends. In line with question 5, where fashion news received the lowest number of votes, I'll aim to concentrate more on particular designs and styles rather than on trends and news.

50% of those who were asked chose that they do not have a preference of how to read a magazine.

I asked this question to see whether readers would be interested in my magazine about shopping, and surprisingly, a lot of people truly like to shop. For my future output, I will most certainly take it into consideration.

This question made it easier for me to understand the psychographics—as opposed to the demographics—of my audience and the kind of locations they would attend. The fact that many people frequented the cafe or restaurant gave me the notion to concentrate more on easy, stylish, casually elegant, and/or formal designs.

Your choice of clothing can not only increase your comfort level but also your self-assurance. Your appearance may be a tool for you to convey who you are and your personality. It is crucial to feel at ease and confident in your appearance.

To get one‘s opinion, I contacted my friends and sent them links. I also gave some of my

classmates the QR code. I received a total of 25 answers since several of my friends also shared the questionnaire to their friends who could be interested in fashion.

In conclusion, there were a lot of things that I thought would occur and end up being the most chosen. I'll stick with the aesthetic approach of my magazine, which is to mostly use soft, neutral color palettes. I will also add and emphasize parts that deal with accessories and cosmetics. My goal is to inspire readers and make sure that everyone may benefit from my publication.

Additionally, the survey's results assisted me in deciding which area to include in my magazine. The topics "Seasonal styles," "How to style a certain item of clothing," and "Best places to shop" received the most votes. As a result, these will be the subjects of my material.

I'll take note of the questions on the survey that asked about cosmetics preferences and fashion preferences in more detail. My magazine will be what I anticipated it to be, and knowing my audience well will help me deliver my ideas in the best way possible since I can see the magazine from the perspective of the reader.
