Double Page Spread Outline

We have already begun in class to discuss magazine organization and possible designs. We talk about the articles we want to add as well. I now know what I'm going to write about after having a brief conversation with my teacher.


My article idea is to write about different places to shop based on the budget. Since my target audience is teenagers, I will be talking about places where affordable shopping is available. Most teenagers do not have a full time jobs with a good income, but many still want to show themselves and look good, therefore I think article with such an idea will be good and attractive to my target audience.


I will also use different models, with completely different physical appearance to represent variety of looks. My models will be teenagers as well, to represent my target audience.


As I have already discussed what program I will be using, which is InDesign. It is perfect to create the entire magazine and not only the cover. Therefore, I chose InDesign, since I got inspired by the example projects I have seen online.







I as well have done my mood board and I want to keep up with such aesthetic, including mood and colors.

Here is an example of the double page spread that I really like and want my magazine to look like:

Organized, but also some pictures overlap each other. Personally, it gives a view of a diary and just looks simple and more affable. I will aim for something similar.
