A shot list serves as a production schedule for your photoshoot. It describes what will occur in a scene, including a description of each shot that makes up the scene as a whole. It functions as a kind of checklist that records all of your preparations and ideas for a picture session, ensuring that nothing is overlooked or forgotten.

In class we already start to organize and prepare for our final photoshoots and pre-production of the final magazine. Shot list is very important and helpful in pre-production. It includes scenes, number of shots and its description.

Scene 1 - Picnic Scene

Shot 1

  • (1st) Model is laying on the picnic blanket with Frits and other decor around her.

  • Medium shot

  • High angle

Shot 2

  • Same model is sitting on the blanket, the decor behind her, shot captures her dress.

  • Medium shot

  • Eye-level angle

Shot 3

  • Capturing the whole location, establishing shot. Model is sitting on the bench, reading a book/holding decor/holding object.

  • Establishing shot. Long shot

  • Eye-level angle

Shot 4

  • Same model stands with her back to the front to show the back of an outfit. Bushes in front of her (background).

  • Medium shot (I will also try long shot)

  • Eye-level angle

Shot 5

  • Same model, similar shot to the previous one, but facing the camera, is sitting on the grass.

  • Medium shot (I will try long shot as well)

  • Eye-level angle

Scene 2 - Dynamic Outfit

Shot 1 (6 in total)

  • (2nd) Model is posing, standing on the grass. Location is the same from pervious scene, just different outfit and model.

  • Long shot

  • Eye-level angle

Scene 3 - Walk on the Bridge

Shot 1 (7 in total)

  • Same outfit and model (2nd) from the previous scene, different location. Walking on the bridge.

  • Long shot

  • High angle (I will try eye-level angle as well)

Scene 4 - Down Town Walk

Shot 1 (8 in total)

  • Completely different location, but first model from the first scene. Model is sitting on the floor, the background is a brick wall.

  • Long shot, establishing shot

  • Eye-level angle ( I will also try low angle)

Shot 2 (9 in total)

  • Same model is now standing sideways. Hands are in the pockets.

  • Medium shot

  • Eye-level angle

Shot 3 (10 in total)

  • Same model is sitting on the stairs, next to the brick wall. Relaxed position.

  • Medium shot (I will also try long shot)

  • Eye-level angle (I will try high and low angles as well)

In total I will approximately have 4 scenes, 10-15 shots, 3 outfits and two different models.
