We have already begun creating our own magazine in our class. The magazine's cover is one of its most important components. Attractive thoughts and a desire to purchase the magazine are created by the cover, which includes a stunning image and coverlines that provide preview of the inside content. I tried to create my cover as eye-catching as the ones I felt inspired by.
The program I used to create my cover was photoshop.

For these two covers I used the same image because I was sure that this photo would be perfect for my cover. I also wanted to have this style for my cover, the only thing I was controversial about and made different on two separate covers is the color for cover lines and their arrangement.
The color of the masthead is mostly the color of my model's lips creating an accent on that little detail, which adds more density to the visual part. As well as the idea of my magazine is to help young girls, I wanted to include the color pink, which shows innocence and yet, burning passion. Other main colors such as green were used to keep a modest color palette.
I also want to keep the text away from the model's face and clothes, so she and her look would stand out more.
These are my drafts, and I am planning to hear more from my class critique and add or change something to gain the best result.
